WHEN YOU THINK WHAT YOU WANT IS TOO FAR AWAY, JUMP!
IT'S NOT AS FAR AS YOU MIGHT THINK!!!!
Hello. My name is Cynthia Anderson and
I am delighted to be a teacher in these exciting times.
I come from a rigorous professional and academic background
that I believe will prove to be beneficial for the student
body. I was awarded an Associates Degree from Golden
West Community College in 1999. In 2003, I graduated
Cum Laude from UCLA with a BS in Neuroscience. I was
awarded Golden Key in 2002 for high academic achievement
and participated in the College Honors program at UCLA.
I am currently enrolled in the Masters in Education/Single
Subject Certification program at the University of Phoenix,
Woodland Hills branch. I have worked as a research lab
technician under UCLA Professor Michael Levine, Ph.D.
and UCLA Associate Professor Larry Hoffman, Ph.D. I have
worked extensively in the areas of vestibular neuroscience,
Parkinson's Disease and Huntington's Disease.
I have spent the 4 years working in clinical pathology
at prestigious institutions including UCLA and Cedars-Sinai
Medical Centers. Am still on staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical
Center as a Senior Histologist in the Pathology Department.
I am very excited about bringing my own life experiences
into the classroom and aim to challenge and inspire.
