I was born in Spokane, Washington in 1968. I have lived in different parts of the United States and in Sweden for three years. I received my BA in Studio Art and a Masters in Secondary Education. My art classes emphasize drawing, painting, ceramics and sculpture. I enjoy making all types of art and like to give students a foundation in each area. I have worked with young people and children in some capacity for over twenty years. The daily interactions with talented and insightful young people are a source of continuous stimulation. I hope to also teach ballet in the future as my early instructional experiences were in teaching ballet.
